Establishment
Notre Dame Middle School resides adjacent to Notre Dame High School.
Enrollment is currently 241 students for grades 5-8. Our philosophy
of education consists of three key elements:
1. FAITH
Through our daily prayer experiences, religion classes, and
Catholic-Christian modeling, we are helped in developing a
relationship with God, our loving Father. This we manifest by the
respectful manner in which we interact with one another.
2. WISDOM
As the school year progresses and report cards are received,
progress is seen in the academic achievements of students. Our
school motto becomes realized as hard work in developing good study
habits will lead to academic excellence.
3. CHARACTER
The theme of National Catholic School’s Week for the 2005-2006
academic year, “Catholic Education: Character, Compassion, Values,”
leads us to remember that our school is not only made up of
classrooms, but also of expectations that enable us to mature and
grow in our relationships with God and each other. The principles
set in this philosophy are meant to guide us in developing a Christian
spirit that is characteristic of our school - one of charity,
concern, generosity, and respect.
